Steps for automatically activating the original car's rear view function

1. Insert the power plug into the corresponding position of the original vehicle navigation host power line (as shown in Figure 3), pay attention to the positive and negative poles, and the PQ platform model needs to be wired for power supply.

2. Plug in or connect the blue video heads (as shown in Figure 1), and plug in or connect the gray CAN cable adapter (as shown in Figure 2) (PQ platform CAN cable requires wiring)

3. Do not plug the camera in, turn on the vehicle ignition and start the vehicle. Enable the host to
function normally on the radio or music interface.

4. MIB/MQB/PQ platform host, plug in the camera, and the sound of the host radio or music will pause and mute. After the sound returns to normal, press and hold the host on/off button to restart the host or unplug the host power. After two minutes, plug in again. After the host restarts, shift into reverse gear, and the reverse image screen will appear. Rotate the steering wheel, and the trajectory line will swing with the steering wheel to complete activation.

5. 869 platform host, plug in the camera, the host will automatically restart. After the host restores the radio or music interface, shift to reverse gear to display the image, and complete the activation.

Kind reminder:

It is recommended to complete the opening steps before wiring. After confirming the completion of opening, proceed with wiring installation.

Common fault causes and troubleshooting

Q1: No switching or no image when reversing

Exclusion method:
1. Check if the video plug position is correct or if the terminal position is correct.
2. Check if the position of the CAN cable plug is correct or if the CAN cable is reversed (PQ platform requires wiring)
3. Pay attention to the positive and negative positions of the power plug and check if the power head is inserted backwards.
4. Check if the trunk is properly covered
5. Check if the backup power fuse is blown, and if it is broken, replace it.
6. The camera or monitor is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired.

Q2: No trajectory or oscillation when reversing

Exclusion method:
1. Check if the video extension cable is damaged.
2. Check if the position of the CAN cable plug is correct or if the CAN cable is reversed (PQ platform requires wiring)

Q3: Image jitter

Exclusion method: Reinsert and unplug the camera to check if it is secure.

Q4: Image blurring

Exclusion method: Wipe the lens with a clean cloth or replace it.
