Tuya Zigbee WiFi Human Presence Sensor MmWave Radar Detector With Luminance Sensor For Smart Home Smart Life replace PIR Sensor

NOTE:

1. When installing the WiFi version, it is necessary to connect to WiFi 2.4GHz. When configuring, pay attention to distinguishing the frequency band of WiFi. When installing the Zigbee version, it is necessary to connect to the Tuya Zigbee Hub or Tuya Multimode Gateway. And our Zigbee version does not support third-party gateways and Zigbee2Mqtt.
2. The power supply is not included in the package and any old power adapter (5V/1A) can be used.
3. Although there are default usage parameters, it may be necessary to fine tune the parameters during specific installation. Adjust the parameters to the desired effect. When adjusting the parameters, first adjust the motion detection parameters, and then adjust the micro motion detection setting parameters.
4. It can only be used indoors and cannot be used outdoors.
5. Avoid installing on metal, avoid facing air conditioning, fans, and curtains.

Product features

Tuya millimeter wave radar can detect the movement of objects or small movements of objects.Compared to infrared PIR, it has many advantages. Traditional PIR can only detect movements with infrared radiation and cannot detect small movements with infrared radiation. Millimeter wave radar can detect object movement and detect small movements of objects.
High accuracy in detecting micro/macro motions:
the human presence sensor sensing human movement and static presence. It can detect the tiniest movement, even breathing.
Home Security:
With human presence detection, you can used to detect intruders, whether it's in your personal home,an office or retail setting or even an industrial environment.
Energy Conservation:
It can not only be used to detect moving, but also non-moving people.
it enables seamless background features, like the kitchen light turns on once you enter the room and off once you leave.
APP Remote Control:
It detect micro/macro motions enables you to detect human presence.
Widely Applicable:
The Millimeter Wave radar sensor can be widely used in lighting, security, home appliance.hotels,garages,buildings.transportation.
LOT internet of things and other industries that need to detect human micro motion, motion and control detection distance.

APP Show

Guarding Your Family

You can set it to be used together with the alarm, or turn on the alarm sound on your phone. When an unwelcome person arrives, it will immediately sound an alarm.

The latest civilian technology

Millimeter wave radar sensors are the most popular security sensors. It perfectly replaces traditional PIR sensors. Compared to PIR, it has many advantages.

Intelligent linkage

The human body presence sensor is based on microwave technology ，actively detecting subtle movements such as chest micro movements caused by human respiration and local micro movements f the human body, thereby achieving recognition and distance positioning of static human bodies.Compared to traditional infrared human body sensors,it can effectively avoid the embarrassment of people turning off lights.

Built-in Illumination Sensor

Using professional lighting recognition chips, the lighting recognition range can reach 0-3000 lux, meeting the lighting conditions of all day and different places.

Detection Angle

90°detection angle and 6 metrer detection distance can realize real—time monitoring during the day and night.

Installation method

There are two installation methods:Ceiling installation and Side installation. Regardless of the installation method, it is necessary to test or adjust parameters after installation is completed.

APP Parameter adjustment

The upper and lower limits of motion detection distance and motion sensitivity can be set, while the upper and lower limits of micro motion sensitivity and micro motion detection distance can be adjusted.

FQA

Q: What kind of device is it and What benefits can I gain from using it?
A: This is a sensor that detects the movement of objects and can perfectly replace PIR. Traditional PIR can only detect changes in environmental temperature and cannot detect the movement of objects, which leads to a high probability of false alarms and is easily affected by environmental heat sources. The millimeter wave radar sensor can detect the movement of objects or small movements, which can accurately determine the presence of the human body. Even when the human body is sitting still, breathing can cause small changes in the body, and these small changes will be captured by our sensor. It provides very accurate judgment of the state of human existence. Of course, your little pet will also be recognized.

Q: Is it made by Tuya?
A: NO. But we are partners of Tuya, we developed and manufactured it through authorization, and Tuya provides apps and cloud services.

Q: What are the necessary conditions for using it?
A: Firstly, you must have a smartphone to install the app. Secondly, you need WiFi at 2.4GHz and the WiFi router needs to be constantly online.

Q: How do I know my WiFi router has a frequency of 2.4GHz?
A: Most routers come with a 2.4GHz frequency band, and this information is usually marked on the router's nameplate. Some routers default to turning off the 2.4GHz frequency. Please refer to the router's manual to turn on the 2.4GHz frequency.

Q: Can I control it through 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G mobile networks?
A: YES. Operating Smart IR Remote through APP means that as long as your mobile phone can access the Internet (no matter what communication mode), APP can control it. But Smart IR Remote also needs to be constantly online through WiFi.

Q: What do I need to pay attention to during installation？
A: 1. Please ensure that the WiFi signal at the installation location is good. 2. Cannot be installed on metal as it can interfere with radar signals. The detection area for installation is a conical airspace with a length of 6 meters and an angle of 90 degrees.

Q: Is it using ESP series chips?
A: NO, We no longer manufacture products with built-in ESP series chips.

Q: What kind of power adapter should I choose?
A: Any qualified power adapter supports it. We recommend using the power adapter of an old phone. Additionally, it should be noted that the minimum power it can operate with is 5V/1A. Of course, you can also use a power supply higher than 5V/1A

Q: Can multiple people use it?
A: YES. There are two methods: 1. You can use the sharing function to share with your friends or family. 2. You can create a virtual home
on the app and invite your family or friends to join.

Q: What do I need to do when configuration fails? If I purchase the WiFi version
A: 1. Check whether the Sensor is powered on or not. And ensure that the indicator light of sensor is in fast flashing mode.
2. Check whether your mobile device is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi network.
3. Ensure that Smart Life has Bluetooth permission and confirm that the phone has Bluetooth turned on (some phones have low-power Bluetooth in GPS, if so, please ensure that the location information is turned on)
4. Check your network connectivity, make sure the router is working properly.
5. Make sure the WiFi password entered is correct when adding remote control.
6. Confirm that the WiFi router does not have restricted access features, such as Mac address whitelist.
7. If WiFi 2.4GHz and 5GHz use the same SSID, you can try changing the name and have your smartphone connect to WiFi 2.4GHz.
8. If the configuration still fails, please turn off your phone's Bluetooth, long press the Reset Button for 5 seconds to switch the device's indicator light to slow flashing mode, and then add it using AP mode. Select the slow flashing indicator light option on the add page to enter AP mode, and the APP page will guide you through the operation.

Q: Does it support third-party Smart Speakers/Alexa/Google Home/Yandex Alice?
A: NO. Because there are many configuration parameters, there is currently no way to support third-party Smart Speakers.

Q: How to adjust parameters if there are false alarms after installation?
A: In general, the default scene parameter configuration can meet the needs of most scenarios. If you need to adjust parameters, we recommend that you first adjust the parameters of "Motion Detection Settings", then test, and finally adjust the parameters of "Micro motion detection settings". Multiple tests may be required, please be more patient.

Q: How long is the power supply cable?
A: 200cm. At present, we are using USB To Micro USB, but in the future we may use USB To Type-c without any additional reminders.
