The difference between tn screen and ips screen is as follows:
1. Different viewing angle restrictions
Due to the manufacturing principle, the TN screen cannot be rotated too much when viewed, otherwise the content on the screen will not be seen. The FILM compensation film technology can be used to increase the viewing angle to 170 .
The IPS screen does not have these restrictions, and the content on the screen can be perfectly seen at an angle of 178
2. Different color gamut
The TN screen is a 6Bit native panel, which can only display 64 colors of red, green, and blue. The maximum actual color is only 262,144. It can be increased to more than 16 million known colors through the "jitter" technology, but the final color display The highest number is only 16.2 million colors.
IPS screen can display more colors, and its color accuracy is better than tn screen.
3. Different response speed
The gray scale response time of the TN screen is longer, which will cause the dynamic image displayed on the screen to leave a special afterimage, which will have a certain impact on the user.
IPS hard screen technology changes the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules, and uses horizontal conversion technology to make the LCD screen faster and more stable. It can express dynamic high-definition pictures with excellent performance. Compared with tn screens, it is more suitable for moving image reproduction. There are no afterimages and trailing genus.

The description is a bit misleading - it states that the moinitor is IPS Touchscreen, but actually there are a number of different models: TFT, IPS, touch and no-touch. I bought one on sale, and on sale page there were no options displayed, only the model with the lowest price (TFT, non-touch) - but the description was from the main item (IPS Touch). That was a bit misleading - after the sale was over, when I clicked on the ordered item I was redirected to a page where I could selest different options (IPS, TFT, etc), and I was somewhat surprised about that. The monitor was well-packed and shipped pretty fast; works out of the box. TFT image quality is.. well, like TFT - view angles are poor, but that's expected.

Works excellent! With a separate cable. The one it came with doesn't supply enough power through the pi, power bank, or wall outlet. The screen itself does work very well. automatically connects to the HDMI source. It powers on with either the "power" or "touch" holes would recommend
