Warm Tips for Mask Selection, Anti-Fog Care

1.【Choose the Right Mask】

Choose a mask according to your skill level, facial shape, and intended use (Low volume Freediving masks may suit smaller faces, while snorkeling masks may offer a roomier fit). Check the size chart and comparison images before ordering. Do not choose only by gender, age, or region.

Designed with a smaller internal volume to help reduce buoyancy during deep dives. Suitable for experienced divers and instructors.

Large-frame snorkeling masks with a single lens, mainly designed for offshore fishing. Models with drain valves may suit shallow reef fishing.

2.【Prepare a New Mask Before First Use】

New masks may have factory residue that increases fogging. If approved for the lens material and coating, gently clean the inner lens with non-gel white toothpaste before first use, then rinse thoroughly.

Do not use toothpaste on coated, plastic, PC, resin, colored, or anti-fog-treated lenses unless approved by the manufacturer.

3.【Use Anti-Fog Spray Correctly】

Apply a thin layer of suitable anti-fog spray to the dry inner lens only. Rub gently and rinse lightly according to the product instructions.

Do not apply it to the outer lens, skirt, frame, strap, or buckles unless specifically approved.

4.【Household Anti-Fog Alternatives】

If anti-fog spray is unavailable, some users may try:

✅ Diluted tear-free baby shampoo

✅ A small amount of saliva

✅ A thin coating from a raw potato slice

Apply a small amount to the inner lens, spread evenly, and rinse gently if needed. Results may vary depending on the lens material and water conditions. Do not use strong cleaning agents or abrasive products.

5.【Keep Beards and Hair Away】

Beards, stubble, and loose hair may affect the mask seal. Shave or trim facial hair around the skirt-contact area before use. Keep long hair away with a swimming cap or diving hood.

6.【Reduce Fogging During Use】

Avoid touching the inner lens with bare fingers, as skin oil may increase fogging. Cool the mask with seawater or clean water before wearing it, and try not to exhale too much air through your nose inside the mask.

7.【Clear Fog Underwater】

If fog appears underwater, make sure the surroundings are safe. Allow a small amount of water into the mask, gently swirl it across the lens, and clear the water according to your training and mask type.

8.【Clean and Store Properly】

After use, rinse the mask with fresh water and air-dry it in a shaded, ventilated place. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and heavy pressure.
