At first my cats didn’t know what to do with this. Girl cat likes it OK. The cotton does come out a bit with biting/scratching.

description said cotton swab "shaped" but it actually is cotton so a cat will eat it and throw it up or it can get lodged in the cat's intestines. This is not a toy.

These are cute and I thought the cats would like them, unfortunately 2 of 3 arrived broken as the photo shows. These have really flimsy 1/4" (6mm) shafts and will break very easily, whether from damage during shipping or from the cats chewing on them. I wouldn't recommend. I did buy one of the large 12" long swab and I'm happy with that item.
