They work pretty well. I got these because I was sick of my glasses leaving weird marks on my face when I wore makeup. A plus I was not expecting was how well they prevented the glasses from slipping down my nose; I did not even realize that was a problem before. For the makeup, it not perfect. Some makeup still gets picked up on the pad (also my nose tends to get a bit sweaty), but not nearly as bad as before. They were also thicker than I thought they would be and are a little bit visible through the glasses, but I do not mind that much since my glasses are black and the color matches.
