Theory

The principle behind underwater fishing lights is the activation of the marine food chain. Zooplankton and insects are attracted to the light and swim to the surface. Baitfish such as shad, minnows, shrimp, snook, tarpon, catfish, flounder, crappie, bass and squid then arrive in pursuit of the plankton. Then, predatory game fish soon follow, and the fishing fun begins.
