Now we mention that out of the box Sony’s network adapter only work with the IDE hard drivers, but the IDE hard drivers has been discontinued for many years, its very hard to find a new IDE in the market, it has been completely replaced by the SATA hard drivers. So why do not use faster and large capacity SATA hard drive to replace the IDE hard disk to play PS2 games, it will save a lot of game loading time for us. This tutorial will show us how to mod our Sony network adapter to use a SATA hard drivers.

Excellent! Worked right away after installing. I was previously using the GameStar PS2 network adapter but wanted to upgrade to the official one to guarantee best compatibility with my game library. This replacement SATA board came with a very clear and easy to understand installation guide complete with pictures. Love this thing! Very fast delivery too considering the distance it traveled.

Shipped out within a day or two and got it in about two weeks, it works with 3.5 and 2.5 hard drives but you will need an adapter for the 2.5 to keep it from moving around.
