I thought this was metal like other fidget items on here but it's plastic. That's on me for not looking closely enough. Still very enjoyable and has two ways to fidget. It slides up and down with a nice ratcheting sound and also spins on the sliding axis with a nice little click feeling. I wish it had a little more weight to it but overall a good fidget.
