This nail gun is very good value for what it is, but there are some things to know before you buy one. This nail gun is powerful and takes a range of brad nails, but not staples. It works with standard Dewalt batteries but does not work with Dewalt PowerStack batteries. I have not tried any of the other Dewalt batteries, like FlexVolt. The safety features for this gun are very poor. There is no interlock to prevent it from firing if it is not on the work piece, so it can shoot nails like a firearm (not good). It doesn't have a safety switch that has to be held down while the user is firing it. The only thing it has is a sliding on off safety switch by the trigger. This does stop it from firing, but if the user forgets and leaves it off, the gun can fire in any direction at any time. I can recommend this for (CAREFUL) DIY users, but do not expect to use this professionally, they will not allow this on a registered building site, for safety reasons.

Arrived quickly in 1 week. The product matches the description. Try using 20 and then 30 gauge nails, they go into the wood like butter. However, be careful, there is no safety mechanism at the end of the nail gun, so when it's on, if you press, it fires and the pressure is very strong. So remember to turn it off and especially remove your finger from the trigger when you're not nailing. Otherwise, perfect, very satisfied.
