It's not cotton and also not linen. The texture of the material is rough to the skin. But the most very uncomfortable is the gas smell on the garterize waist, no matter I soaked with water, detergent and baking soda and washed it several times and even I used and washed for almost a month that gas smell never gone. I think it's so much chemical used in the material. The only thing I like about the pant is the length fits to my height.
