Arrived in good time thanks. I bought the 10A 13.8V version with the ACC control line. When Off the unit draws a very small current well below 1mA. When unit is enabled but without the output connected then it draws less than 60mA. I didn't know that previously. I have only tested the unit on an old 7Ah 12v gel battery as a DC to DC trickle charger - it managed 3A charge current into that without getting warm so I have confidence it will manage a lot more into a 100Ah FLA starter battery. The next project is to install the unit in a working environment. Thanks.
