Upon opening the package, I was slightly disappointed due to all the plastics in the build. The only metal parts are the railing, base, screws, and solder iron stand. The item does function okay, securing what I needed it to, but could definitely do a better job with more quality components. Overall, I'm satisfied, but haven't thoroughly treated it with other things than holding a guitar pickguard with electronics.

very hand set of extra hands for holding things to solder. It is weighted so it stays in place on the bench when pushing against it while soldering. The spring tension takes away any worry of tightening the pc board too tight and breaking it. Good product
