ANBERNIC RG40XX H Handheld Game Console 4'' Screen Linux System Joystick RGB Lighting Effect RG40XXH Video Player Trimui Console

Received the unit with an extremely bad white patch in the screen that shows up in almost.every game I play. Very dissapointed.

Its a really nice handheld feels good and looks good. But mine had a corrupted SD card and was stuck on the boot up screen. I looked up this issue and it appears this is common. I'll have to download and install firmware myself as well as games and all that, which I was hoping to avoid but oh well.

The ANBERNIC RG40XX H has great build quality, responsive controls, and a vibrant 4-inch screen. However, two issues hold it back from 5 stars: Dead Stock SD Card: The included microSD card arrived non-functional and uses cheap media. Plan to replace it immediately with a reliable name-brand card. Zero Troubleshooting Instructions: The box includes no documentation on where to download the OS or how to re-flash a corrupted card. My prior experience with Linux and Raspberry Pi made fixing this manageable, but beginners may struggle to locate firmware and flashing guides online. Freeze/Power-On Fix: The unit can occasionally freeze and refuse to turn on. If this happens, hold the Reset button for 5 seconds, then press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates. Verdict: Excellent handheld if you are comfortable providing your own microSD card and handling OS setup yourself.

A great little machine. My first handheld and loving it. well built comfortable and good software for just being into the games. I did have a problem with the mini SD card failing when trying to back out up and I tried to contact the seller a couple times but they never responded. I had to supply my own card reinstall the OS and source my own roms. They deserve to lose a star for that but overall I happened to buy on sale and still love the machine and overall gaming experience, so I still would recommend.

I love it! Very good deal on a fun product. Probably not the best game selection on the provided card but that’s ok

Works as advertised. Worth it definitely worth it
