Shimano CUES U4000 9s Groupset SL-U4000 RD-U4000 RD-U3020 RD-U4020 LG300 Cassette Sprocket LG500 Chain MTB Bike Part

The Shimano CUES U4000 9 speed groupset is an entry level offering if you are looking for a wide spread of gearing across 9 speeds such as the 11-46 cassette option. The shifter cable that comes with the set has a rough texture even though it is coated with an anti-friction coating. This has caused unpredictable and difficult shifting. I replaced the housing and cable with a premium offering from JAGWIRE, The Jagwire components from their Pro Slick line solved the problem. You also may require an "ultra-smooth" cable and housing if your particular application has internal routing with aggressive bending or routing. Overall, the CUES U4000 Groupsrt is very reasonably priced when compared to premium offerings such as the Box One Prime 9 groupset.

The derailler are really loose for a new one. Can't do a great speed adjustement with it.

The drivetrain is good and seems original. All works very well and as described. The shipping was delayed compared to other larger items I've order which arrived more than a week earlier than this item. The seller is responsive, but did not send out the package quickly enough. All in all, a good item and worth the wait.

Good transmission, remember that this is only a single chainring, it cannot be modified for a double chainring. The product quality is noticeable.

I have not installed it yet but all looks legitimate original parts. Although the chain could be longer, it may be shorter than the current chain, but will confirm
