so far so good. tip for installing. both sets wires are used. the first black on right is neg then 1,2,3 even the other black and next red. the last red on the left goes on your final series group positive terminal. so let's say it's a 10s. black then first 8 wires go 1 , 2, ect. except on 9 all wires that are left on both sets of wires so last two on the first and all the wires on the second except for the last red all go on 9. 13s wires go as normal. 10 is the first red 11 is the next black on the next set of wires, 12 is all the white wires on the second set of wires and 13 is the last red. I hope that helps someone. oh and if your BMS don't turn on when you connect the wire harness to the BMS after attaching all lead wires. plug into charger. I had one turn right on the other needed charger to wake. and if you want uart you better buy it seperate. it's capable but not included. the sellers are pretty good on communication as well. you tube videos on how to hook it up are not very c

The Bluetooth control and info doesn't work most of the time. The battery % and Ah available is always wrong, usually stuck at 100%. The displayed voltage for the pack and individual cell groups is correct. The balancing feature only turns on sometimes, even when groups are far out of balance and the settings show it should be in balance mode regardless of whether or not the battery is charging. I have eight of these BMS boards and service and all of them exhibit the same behavior / Flaws. I have other jbd BMS boards with different hardware designs that work perfectly, but these ones just don't cut it.

This appears to be a very good BMS and I'm using it for an 8S LifePO4 pack. The instructions aren't included and the balance lead can be confusing to install. Since I have a 14S BMS and only an 8S battery, I wired it like this: (All 15 wires are connected) Wire 0 (black) = Cell 1 - neg Wire 1 (white) = Cell 1 - pos Wire 2 (white) = Cell 2 - pos Wire 3 (white) = Cell 3 - pos Wire 4 (white) = Cell 4 - pos Wire 5 (white) = Cell 5 - pos Wire 6 (white) = Cell 6 - pos Wire 7 (white) = Cell 7 - pos Wire 8 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 9 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 10 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 11 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 12 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 13 (white) = Cell 8 - pos Wire 14 (red) = Cell 8 - pos (Yes, the last 7 wires go to cell 8 pos) Also, the software that is linked through the included QR code "JBD BMS" isn't the best, but "XiaoxiangBMS" is also available on the app store for a fee and works much better.
