Buying Guide(Important)

·First, please confirm that your original axle's pitch is either 1.0mm or 1.5mm. If the pitch is different, it will not only be unusable but may also damage your fork/frame. Typically, your original axle will be marked with "P1.5mm" or "Pitch: 1.5mm". If so, then purchase an axle from our selection marked P1.5. Please be sure to confirm this first!

·Next, measure the "total width" at the fork/frame axle position. The axle passes through the two fork/frame legs to achieve a fixing function, so the width of the two fork legs also needs to be measured together.

·Finally, select the appropriate length of shaft based on the dimensions shown in the product options. Generally, a difference of no more than 1mm in shaft length will not affect its use.

Purchase Options Explanation

For example, the option "Color: L180 M12xP1.0 TL18"."L180" indicates that the effective length of the shaft is 180 mm, which does not include the thickness of the shaft head. "M12" indicates that the outer diameter of the shaft is 12 mm. "P1.0" indicates that the thread pitch of the shaft is 1.0 mm. "TL18" indicates that the effective thread length is 18 mm.

M15 outer diameter shaft is used for mountain bike thru-axle forks.Shorter M12 axles are typically used in road forks, longer M12 axles are typically used in MTB or road bike frames, etc.
