Wall-mounted Metal Detector Wall Scanner Suitable for Detecting Metal and Non-metal AC Wiring Sensors with Audible Alarm

Product Features:

1. 100% brand new, premium quality product.

2. Crafted from superior materials for durability and practicality.

3. Suitable for use in interior structural work, detecting the location of metal and timber within walls. Upon sensing metal or timber, the device emits a flashing light and audible alert. It can also detect other foreign objects within the same material.

4. Ergonomic design for comfortable handling.

5. Locates edges of timber or metal studs to a depth of 3/4 inch (20 mm).

Test Sampling Procedure:

Place the instrument on the surface to be tested and press the power switch. The first red and green indicator lights illuminate, accompanied by a ‘beep’ sound. The red light then extinguishes, indicating successful detection. During sampling, if the first red indicator remains lit and emits a short ‘beep-beep’ sound, this indicates unsuccessful sampling due to interference or the tested object exceeding the instrument's internal tolerance threshold.

Testing Procedure:

After successful sampling, maintain the power switch depressed while moving the instrument along the surface. Upon detecting foreign matter, the red indicator lights illuminate sequentially. When all LEDs are lit and a ‘beep-beep’ sound is emitted, mark the location with a pencil and release the power switch.

Position the instrument to sample the surface in the opposite direction, moving towards the marked location. When the instrument detects foreign matter, the red indicator lights will illuminate sequentially. Once all LEDs are lit and a ‘beep-beep’ sound is emitted, mark the location with a pencil and release the power switch.

Repeat the test several times. If an alarm sounds each time, it indicates a potential support column (foreign object) beneath the intermediate area.

When no metal or other foreign objects are present below, the device will neither flash nor emit sound. For accurate results, conduct multiple tests.

Product Specifications:

Power Supply: 6F22 9V battery (battery not included)

Dimensions: 145 x 62 x 25 mm

This instrument operates on the principle that variations in material density beneath the surface of the target object alter the detector's frequency. Maximum detection depth is 19mm beneath a uniform surface, with a detection range tolerance of 3mm. The target object must have a minimum surface area of 1200mm².
