AISI 52100 chrome steel bearing balls have excellent surface quality and dimensional precision. They offer superior wear resistance, high hardness (Rockwell C 60-66) and high load bearing capacity as a result of through-hardening.

Chrome steel is a chrome alloy carbon steel, not a chrome plated steel. It's approximately 95% iron.

Carbon = 0.95 - 1.1%

Chromium = 1.3 - 1.6%

These chrome steel balls are widely used in precision bearings, automotive components (brakes, steering, line shaft), bicycle, agitators, appliances, sliders, quick couplings, machine tool, lock mechanisms, conveyor belts, skates, pens, pumps, castors, measuring instruments, valves.
