The absolute value type rotary encoder detects the rotation angle through the output binary code, and the detected angle is an absolute angle. Since each position is absolutely unique, there is no need to use a battery, and the position information can be maintained even if the power is turned off. In addition to high detection accuracy, the biggest advantage of this encoder is easy installation and long service life.

For measurement in the 360° range, a single-turn absolute encoder can be directly used, and the highest single-turn resolution can reach 15 bits, that is, 32768P/R.

If you want to measure rotation beyond 360°, please use a multi-turn absolute encoder. The number of turns is optional, we keep Single-turn and multi-turn of 24 turns to 1056turns for this type in stock. The maximum resolution of a single turn is up to 12 bits, that is, 4096P/R, and the maximum measurement range is 1056 turns*4096P/R.
