NOT Compatible with 2024+ Ridstar Q2 Models

Compatibility Warning & Troubleshooting Guide

(Please read carefully before purchasing or leaving feedback)

⚠️ Important Compatibility Notice

This is a standard Hall effect analog throttle (outputs 0.8-4.2V signal). It DOES NOT work with CAN bus throttles or digital protocol controllers.

2024+ Ridstar Q2 models use digital throttle systems and are NOT compatible with this product.

SM 3-pin connectors have 3 different wiring pinouts across different brands and production batches. Direct plug-in may not work.

Most Common "Not Working" Issues & Fixes

1. Wrong Wiring Pinout (60% of all issues)

Symptoms: No response at all, throttle reverses, full speed immediately when powered on

Solution: Swap the order of the 3 wires (red/black/blue) in the SM connector until it works correctly. Most controllers use:

Red: 5V power

Black: Ground

Blue: Signal

2. Controller Protocol Mismatch

Symptoms: No response even with correct wiring

Solution: Check your controller settings and enable "Hall effect throttle" mode. If your controller only supports digital throttles, this product will not work.

3. Improper Installation

Ensure the throttle is fully inserted into the 22mm standard handlebar

Tighten the fixing screw evenly to avoid misalignment of the internal magnet and sensor

Remove any interfering cables that may block throttle movement

4. Voltage Compatibility Issue

This throttle supports 36V-72V systems, but requires a stable 5V reference voltage from the controller

If you experience intermittent failure on 72V systems, check your controller's 5V output
