Speed Controller – Two Speed Modes

(1) Low Speed Mode (factory default)

Pedestrian mode: 6 km/h

D mode: 15 km/h

S mode: 20 km/h

(2) High Speed Mode

Pedestrian mode: 6 km/h

D mode: 25 km/h

S mode: 34 km/h

With a full battery: top speed is 34 km/h (no load / off the ground), or about 29 km/h with a rider.

(3) How to switch between modes

Mount the controller on the stem, connect the dashboard cable and communication cable, then turn on the scooter.

Press the brake lever 3 times, then press the throttle 3 times – this toggles between the two speed modes.

Switching to High Speed Mode: the dashboard shows 34 for 5 seconds, then the switch is complete.

Switching to Low Speed Mode: the dashboard shows 20 (or 25) for 5 seconds, then the switch is complete.

(4) After each power-on, you can only switch modes once using the throttle and brake method.

(5) After every restart (power cycle), the scooter automatically reverts to Low Speed Mode, with S mode limited to 20 km/h.

(6) If the user removes the speed controller, the scooter will return to its original (unrestricted/default) speed.

Wi‑Fi Configuration

The controller has a built‑in Wi‑Fi AP for mobile phone connection. Users can adjust settings via a web configuration page.

1.Connecting to Wi‑Fi

Default SSID: for Mi4Lite_Gen2

Users can change the SSID on the configuration page (supports 4–12 characters: letters, digits, or underscores).

Default password: 88888888

Users can change the password on the configuration page (supports exactly 8 digits or letters).

2.Opening the Configuration Page

Important: Turn off your phone's mobile data before connecting to the controller's Wi‑Fi, otherwise the page may not load.

After connecting to the Wi‑Fi, open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1. The configuration page will appear.
