How to distinguish between the general, provincial and national versions of Hurricane3?
In addition to the subtle differences in cover, you can also distinguish between Hurrican 3 table tennis rubbers by their appearance. It is octagonal in the general version, hexagonal in the provincial version, and rectangular in the national version.

What are the differences between different thicknesses of sponges?
DHS Hurricane 3 Neo has 3 thicknesses of sponge: 2.1mm, 2.15mm and 2.2mm.
In fact, for high elasticity sponge, the thicker it is, the more elastic it is, and the more spin it has on the ball.

For example, two balls with the same speed hit a 1MM sponge and a 2MM sponge respectively.
For the 1MM sponge, because the sponge is thin, its deformation is not large, the rubber does not wrap the ball deeply, and the ability to make rotation is insufficient;
For the 2MM sponge, its deformation is obviously larger, which makes the contact area between rubber and ball larger, and makes it more capable of manufacturing rotation.
How to choose the right thickness?
If you want speed and rotation, you can rotate the thick sponge.
Usually the forehand power is good, and the athletes who mainly attack choose the thick sponge.
If control and stability are considered, thin sponge can be selected.
Usually, backhand control needs more, and you can choose a thinner sponge.
Elasticity: 2.2mm > 2.15mm > 2.1mm
Spin: 2.2mm > 2.15mm > 2.1mm
Control: 2.1mm > 2.15mm > 2.2mm
Mastering difficulty: 2.2mm > 2.15mm > 2.1mm
