The SWORD 309 is a classic 9-ply all-wood table tennis blade constructed purely from natural timber without any carbon fiber reinforcement. Adopting advanced W.P.T manufacturing technology, this 5.9mm solid wood blade provides a soft hitting sensation. The multi-layer wood structure delivers excellent vibration transmission, allowing players to clearly perceive ball contact on the racket surface.

In terms of performance, this blade is categorized as a defensive model. It scores 8 for speed, 9 for control and 8 for elasticity. Its outstanding controllability makes it ideal for chopping tactics. When executing backspin chops away from the table, the layered wood structure generates stable, heavy backspin. Meanwhile, it retains adequate elasticity for sudden counter-loop attacks. The soft characteristic suppresses excessive bounce, helping players stabilize short ball manipulation near the net and reduce unforced errors. It balances reliable defensive stability and surprising offensive potential, avoiding the common weakness of pure defensive blades that lack counterattack power.

This blade is specially designed for chopper players who focus on defensive tactics with occasional counterattacks. It is a perfect fit for intermediate and advanced defensive players who rely on consistent chopping and value clear feedback. Beginners transitioning to formal chopping styles can also use it to build solid technique. The blade is available in FL flared handle and ST straight handle to satisfy different grip habits. Whether you play far-table chopping or mixed defence-and-attack strategies, the SWORD 309 offers consistent, predictable performance to upgrade your competitive level.
