SVBONY SV188P Telescope 1.25'' 90 Degree Dielectric Mirror Diagonal 99% Reflectivity Dielectric Coatings

Reflectivity: 99%

SV188P features sophisticated, Multi-layered dielectric coatings that provide an astounding 99% reflectivity for maximum view brightness and sharpness.

1.25in Diagonal

1.25in nosepiece fits telescopes with 1.25in focusers. Accepts standard 1.25” eyepieces, filters, Barlow lenses and other accessories with a 1.25in insert barrel.

90° Viewing Angle

Diagonal provides a comfortable 90-degree viewing orientation when observing the night sky through a refractor, Maksutov-Cassegrain (Mak-Cass) or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope

Suitable for 1.25'' filter

With 28.5x0.6 filter thread can connect with 1.25in filter directly, which is for astrophotography.

Brass Compression Ring

Brass lock Screw for eyepiece or adapter and brass Compression rings features more precision and prevent barrels or the surface of eyepieces from marring and scratching.

Upright Image

The Svbony fully metal 1.25" Mirrors Diagonal zenith mirror offers an upright figure which is but turned backward in left and right position. It is suitable in particular for astronomical observations. The mirror depicts clean and full of contrasts.

.1What material is this mirror made of?

The

SVBONY SV188P Telescope Diagonal

mirror is made of aluminum alloy with a dielectric coating that provides 99% reflectivity. The barrel tubes are also aluminum alloy, and the eyepiece lock features a brass compression ring that secures eyepieces without scratching them.

2.Why 99% reflectivity?

The 99% reflectivity on the

SVBONY SV188P Diagonal

is achieved through dielectric coatings — specialized optical coatings that minimize light loss when light bounces off the mirror.

Here's why this matters:

More light reaches your eye – Only 1% of light is lost instead of 5-10% with standard mirrors, resulting in brighter, sharper images

Better contrast – Less scattered light means clearer details and higher contrast when viewing celestial objects

Superior image quality – Customers report noticing a 15-20% improvement in brightness and clarity compared to basic diagonals
