SV216 1.25" 2X 4-Element Barlow Lens

Constant magnification 2X2

4-element FMC optics

Blackended lens edges

Flatter field of view

1.25 barrel & M28.5*0.6 thread

Constant Magnification 2X

When using the constant 2X Barlow lens to increase magnification, it is available to enjoy the generous eye relief of the lower power eyepiece, especially for eyeglass wearers or for those with fast telescopes. Barlow lens can be placed anywhere along the optical chain between an eyepiece or a camera, and wherever you place, the excellent 4-element Barlow lens stays a constant 2X magnification.

High Index 4-element FMC Optics & Blackened Lens Edge

Each of the four elements in SV216 is fully multi-coated, resulting in bright, sharp images. The lenses are edge-blackened to eliminate internal light scatter to maximize image contrast.

Provides Flatter Field of View

Compared to a standard Barlows lens, this 4-element Barlow lens provides excellent control of chromatic and spherical aberration and a flatter field-of-view.

1.25” Interface & M28.5*0.6 Thread

The eyepiece is threaded for a filter (standard M28*0.6 female thread) and the barrel interface diameter is 1.25” for connecting to a telescope for planetary photography, like moon, solar and planetary at a broad range of focal lengths.
