Q: What kind of device is it and What benefits can I gain from using it?
A: It is an audible alarm and an important pricing device in Tuya's intelligent solutions. It does not have built-in sensors, but can be used in conjunction with other sensors. For example, if the door magnetic sensor detects that the door is open at night, it can emit a maximum alarm sound of 100dB. It has 32 built-in sounds and provides applications in different scenarios.

Q: What is the difference between Zigbee version and WiFi version?
A:Firstly, the Zigbee version requires the Tuya Zigbee hub or Tuya multimode gateway to work together, and it cannot connect to WiFi. The WiFi version connects to the 2.4GHz rating of the WiFi router and requires the WiFi network to be constantly online. It does not require Zigbee Hub.
Secondly, if an automated process is established. The version of Zigbee is configured locally (triggering devices must be connected to the same Zigbee network), which means that after the Zigbee gateway disconnects from the Tuya cloud service, alarms can still be triggered according to the configuration. However, the automation process of the WiFi version relies on Tuya cloud services, and if the network is disconnected, the automation process cannot be triggered.

Q: How do I know my WiFi router has a frequency of 2.4GHz, If I want to purchase a WiFi version?
A: Most routers come with a 2.4GHz frequency band, and this information is usually marked on the router's nameplate. Some routers default to turning off the 2.4GHz frequency. Please refer to the router's manual to turn on the 2.4GHz frequency.

Q: What do I need to pay attention to during installation？
A: Please ensure that the WiFi/Zigbee signal at the installation location is good.

Q: Is it using ESP series chips?
A: NO, We no longer manufacture products with built-in ESP series chips.

Q: What kind of power adapter should I choose?
A: Any qualified power adapter supports it. We recommend using the power adapter of an old phone. Additionally, it should be noted that the minimum power it can operate with is 5V/1A. Of course, you can also use a power supply higher than 5V/1A.

Q: Can multiple people use it?
A: YES. There are two methods: 1. You can use the sharing function to share with your friends or family. 2. You can create a virtual home on the app and invite your family or friends to join.

Q: What do I need to do when configuration fails, If I purchase a WiFi version?
