Q: What is the difference between RR and Delica beads?

A: RR (Round Rocaille) are round and slightly irregular — great for flexible weaving, stringing, and kumihimo. Delica beads are cylindrical and ultra-precise, ideal for flat loom and peyote stitch. Both are MIYUKI — just different tools for different projects.

Q: Will the color match if I reorder later?

A: We source from the same color lot whenever possible. If you need an exact lot match for a large project, contact us and we’ll do our best to reserve from the same batch.

Q: Will the finish wear off over time?

A: MIYUKI’s core finishes (opaque, Ceylon, luster) are extremely durable. Surface-coated finishes (metallic, AB, galvanized) may show light wear with heavy daily use — a protective sealant on the finished piece is recommended for high-contact jewelry like bracelets.

Q: What thread or wire do you recommend?

A: For weaving and stitchwork, we recommend Miyuki thread or Fireline 6lb. For stringing, 0.3–0.4mm beading wire works well with the 11/0 hole size.
