Product Introduction:

This AD9744 module is a high-performance, single-channel Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) built around the powerful 14-bit AD9744 chip. Designed for demanding signal generation applications, it operates on a single +5V power supply and achieves an impressive update rate of 210 Mega-samples per second (210Msps).

The module delivers excellent signal quality, featuring a built-in high-order low-pass filter that smoothens the DAC output, resulting in clean analog waveforms with a bandwidth of approximately 40MHz. For output flexibility, it includes an on-board gain-adjustable amplifier, allowing you to fine-tune the output voltage via a potentiometer across a wide range from ±0.9V to ±3.5V (1.8Vpp to 7Vpp). The output is matched to a standard 50-ohm impedance.

Equipped with an SMA output interface and a 3.3V logic level parallel data port, it is perfectly suited for high-speed signal generation tasks. To accelerate your development, the module is complemented by a complete Verilog example project for FPGA platforms (Quartus II 13.0), demonstrating the generation of sine, triangle, and square waves.
