Output current adjustment: Set the multimeter or ammeter to the 50A, 20A or 10A range. Set the power supply voltage to 5V. Turn the constant current potentiometer ‘CC’ anticlockwise by approximately 10 turns to set the current to the minimum value, then short-circuit the output with the multimeter. Next, turn the ‘CC’ potentiometer clockwise to adjust the current to the required value. (Note: When the constant-current potentiometer ‘CC’ is turned anticlockwise by 10 turns, the power supply may have no output voltage; this is because the current has been set to 0A. Do not be concerned by this; turning the potentiometer clockwise to increase the current will restore the output.)
