The feedback from customers experience:

Enter this simple hand tool that allows me a lot of control over how to thin and shape leather to my needs. It is easy to change the blades although it requires frequent blade changes.

It is comfortable to hold and work with. Once you work with it a bit, you figure out when to use the curved and flattened parts of the blade to achieve the cuts you need.

I use this on 3-4oz veg tan leather....I like it for thinning down the edges. Skiving with this takes a little getting used to but once you get the angle and pressure figured out, I think you'll find this tool very valuable. I typically use it to skive down the inner pocket edges on the minimalist wallets I make by hand.
