Solar power isn't constant throughout the day. Due to factors like sun angle and temperature, panels typically operate at 65%-70% efficiency.

Morning/Afternoon: Efficiency is lower (30%-60%).

Noon: Reaches peak efficiency (~70%).

The Golden Rule for Sizing:

To ensure your pump runs smoothly for 6-8 hours a day, follow this simple formula:

Pump Power × 1.5 = Required Solar Panel Wattage

Example:For a 200W pump, we recommend pairing it with 300W - 400W of solar panels. Even if you add more panels (e.g., 2x the pump power), the pump will still work perfectly fine as long as the voltage stays within the safe range.
