The Heltec Energy 2~24S 3A/4A Intelligent Battery Equalization Instrument is a smart balancing device suitable for 2-24 series lithium batteries (NCM, LFP, LTO, etc.). It can automatically recognize the number of battery strings and utilizes a constant resistance discharge method for balancing, ensuring voltage consistency and enhancing battery lifespan and performance.

Usage Steps

Power On: Connect to the power source and start the device.

Connect the Battery: Properly connect the battery according to the markings on the instrument or wiring board.

Check Voltage: Confirm that the displayed voltage and number of battery strings are correct. If incorrect, check the wiring.

Start Balancing: Initiate the balancing process and monitor the balancing voltage. The device will automatically stop once balancing is complete.

Battery Maintenance Guide

Faulty Battery Detected: Replace the faulty cell → Fully charge → Balance → Fully charge → Maintenance complete.

No Faulty Cells: Fully charge → Balance → Fully charge → Maintenance complete.

Insufficient Balancing Effect: Repeat the balancing process multiple times for optimal results.

Precautions

Due to the high balancing current, ensure that the connecting wires are thick enough to prevent burnout or damage.

B- refers to the battery pack’s negative pole, B1 is the first string from the negative pole. Adding more batteries during balancing is prohibited.

Ensure insulation protection and avoid touching exposed wires during the balancing process.

Double-check all connections before connecting the instrument to prevent equipment damage.
