Balance setting

1. Manual Equalization

How it works: Manually set a target voltage (must be within the battery’s valid range), then click "Manual Balance" while the device is operating normally. The system will discharge higher-voltage cells until all cells match the set value.

2. Automatic Equalization

Best for: Low-speed vehicles and small-capacity battery packs.

Power: 5%–30% of total capacity.

How it works: Click "Automatic Equalization" during normal operation. The system detects the highest and lowest voltage cells, then discharges the high-voltage cells to match the low-voltage ones.

3. Charge Equalization

Performed when the battery is at half-charge to balance cell voltages.

Connection Setup

Connect the battery pack’s negative terminal to the device’s "Battery Negative" port.

Connect the charger’s negative to the device’s "Charging Negative" port.

Connect the charger’s positive directly to the battery’s positive terminal.

Current Limits:

Before balancing starts: ≤25A

After reaching balance voltage (LiFePO4: 3.45V / NMC: 4.00V): ≤5A (lower current improves balance quality).

Battery Equalization Guide

1. Activation Conditions

Equalization starts only when at least one cell reaches the set voltage during charging

Below set voltage → No equalization

Optimal charging current during equalization: ≤5A

2. Balancing Process

Automatically balances cells until voltage differences reach target range

Stops automatically when balanced

3. Overvoltage Protection

Any cell ≥ set limit → Charging stops immediately

4. Recovery Mechanism

Charging resumes automatically when high cells drop below recovery value

5. Manual Forced Balancing

Set target voltage in settings

Click "Manual Balance" to force discharge

⚠️ Must stay within safe voltage range

6. Current Settings

Battery clips: 5-100%

Adapter boards: 5-50%
