SV215 1.25" 3mm-8mm 56° Parfocal Planetary Zoom Eyepiece

The zoom eyepiece is designed to provide the best balance of contrast, comfortable eye relief, and resolution for the critical planetary observer, particularly for ultra-premium refractors with short focal length.

Constant Field of View: 56°

The parfocal zoom eyepiece ensures that there is no need to break away form your observing to change the focal length and you don’t have to refocus after changing the focal length, which brings great convenience for visual astronomy. The generous 56° FOV and smooth zoom action with click-stops at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8mm are for quick changes to precise preset magnifications.

Constant Eye Relief: 10mm

The parfocal eyepiece features a relatively constant 10mm eye relief through the entire zoom range and it is available to get a higher magnification without eye relief sacrificing, comfortable for observing.

FMC Optics & Lens Edges Blackened

Fully multi-coated and the high index 6-elements/ 4 groups optics ensure high light transmission, and the blackened edge of every glass reduces stray light for excellent and high-contrast images.

1.25” Interface & M28.5*0.6 Thread

The eyepiece is threaded for a filter (standard M28*0.6 female thread) and the barrel interface diameter is 1.25” for connecting to a telescope for visual celestial astronomy, like moon, solar and planetary at a broad range of focal lengths.

Fold-down Rubber Eyecup；Click stops at every mm；Safety shortcut

1. The front focus of the SV215 zoom eyepiece is inside the eyepiece body, and the main mirror you use needs to have a sufficient focusing range to ensure smooth focusing and imaging.

2. SV215 is not suitable for all brands of bird-watching telescopes with 1.25-inch interfaces. Please do not use SV215 for bird-watching telescopes.

Please note the following:

Before making a purchase, please ensure that the selected spotting scope is compatible and can achieve focus with your eyepiece. This is crucial because the spotting scope and the eyepiece need to align at the focal point for clear observation results.

The SV215 does not support focus adjustment with any brand of spotting scope, including the entire SVBONY single-tube telescope series. This means that the SV215 cannot achieve focus alignment with SVBONY or any other brand of single-tube telescopes.

Please make sure to understand and confirm that the chosen equipment meets your needs and requirements before making a purchase. If you have any questions, please consult customer service.
