To meet evolving industry security standards, Autel KM100 will gradually integrate NASTF Secure Data Release Model (SDRM) starting in September 1, 2026.IM508 II and IM608 II Series devices will be updated in subsequent phases.
Certain vehicle security functions may require a Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) credential ($435 for a Primary account, valid for two years).

VSP fees are paid to NASTF for qualification review, background checks, and maintenance of the SDRM system. Daotong access is designed to meet industry security compliance and VSP related registration requirements.The policy is subject to NASTF.

FAQ About NASTF SDRM Compliance

Q:Do I have to pay for every programming in the future?
A:Not charged per visit. During the 2-year VSP subscription period, once verified, it can be reused (within the validity period).

Q:Can I continue using without authentication?
A:After the launch of SDRM, effective VSP is required for security functions such as key addition, full loss, and anti-theft programming. Normal diagnosis, code reading, code clearing, etc. are not affected.

Q:Is a subscription to the SDRM system included with the purchase of the device?
A: No. The device does not include an active SDRM subscription or account. Access to the SDRM system is a separate service that must be directly registered, purchased, and maintained by the end user through the official NASTF platform. Please ensure your account is active prior to using any SDRM-dependent features on the device.

1. Transponder Reading

Transponder reading gives you the access to some basic information of the key, including chip type, IMMO type, transponder ID, locking status, and code mode. To read the transponder information, place the transponder into the transponder slot or put the key into the key slot and tap the Read button. The Transponder Information screen will appear.

2. Transponder Cloning

You are able to use this function to detect the transponder and vehicle information in order to decrypt a code which shall be used to directly clone and generate a functional transponder for your vehicle. The whole process saves the trouble of using the old OBD approach.

The KM100E supports various transponder types for cloning and editing. Choose the corresponding cloning procedure according to your transponder identification number (ID).

3. Transponder Editing

This function helps you read and edit transponder information such as its configurations and EEPROM data. Choose an IMMO type (which can be accessed by the transponder reading function) and start editing according to your needs. When a writing operation is successfully done, a “writing succeeded” message will appear, and you may move to another operation.
