About the product

BLB (Black Light Blue) Lamp, usually called black light tube or purple tube. Works by phosphors within the discharge arc tube arc energy can be converted to long-wave UV-A band ultraviolet radiation, UVA radiation 340nm to 380nm band, which is the center value 365nm, a glass tube is made of blue-black, little visible light can pass through, but does not affect glow. Purpose: industrial glue curing, tungsten ore identification, fluorescence detection, biological polymerization, oil detection, mineral exploration, criminal detective, textile industry, archeology, medical, stage, nightclubs, theaters, and signal lighting, mainly used for detectors, ballroom lighting, textile product testing, the mountains catch scorpions.

1. Many ore will fluoresce under ultraviolet light, emit a different fluorescent under ultraviolet radiation of different wavelengths, while at the same ultraviolet irradiation, chemical composition of different ores, emit fluorescent color will be different, therefore, has become ore UV detection an important tool.

2. The use of ultraviolet light to stimulate hair grease substance characteristic fluorescence detection grunge / stains on the workpiece.

3. evaluators use them to detect the authenticity of antiques. There are many pigments containing phosphorus, it will glow under ultraviolet light, and most of the old paint is not containing phosphorus.

4. Maintenance personnel use them to identify invisible cracks in the machine - by injecting a small amount of fluorescent dye into the fuel supply and the use of ultraviolet light shining it.

5. The law enforcement officials can use them to identify the authenticity of the money. The United States and many other countries in their large denomination with a invisible fluorescent strip, they only show up under ultraviolet light.

6. Forensic scientists use them to analyze the crime scene. For fingerprints, for example, they are usually sprinkled with fluorescent dye under ultraviolet light. So that it can more easily fingerprints.
