The Convoy L21B Multi-option Flashlight is a highly customizable and performance-oriented lighting tool that combines advanced LED technology, user-centric control features, and rugged construction to deliver exceptional versatility for a wide range of lighting needs. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, the L21B is built to withstand harsh conditions while providing reliable illumination across various colors and intensities. Its design accommodates a broad selection of LED emitters, each tailored to specific use cases, making it one of the most adaptable lights in its class. Among its white light configurations, users can choose from the KW CSLNM1.TG, KW CSLPM1.TG, and the powerful KW CULPM1.TG, operating at 6A and 8A respectively, delivering outstanding beam intensity and throw distance. For color options, the flashlight can be fitted with the KP CSLPM1.F1 for green light at 6A, the KR CSLNM1.23 at 620nm or the SST-20-DR at 660nm for red illumination at 2.5A, the KY CSLNM1.FY for orange light at 5A, and the KB CSLNM1.14 for blue light at 5A. These diverse options enable the user to customize the flashlight for hunting, night vision preservation, signaling, tactical operations, or specialized inspections.

The flashlight is powered by a single 21700 lithium-ion battery, typically rated at 5000mAh, offering both high capacity and consistent output for extended runtimes. It features a smooth reflector paired with an AR-coated glass lens, ensuring an optimal balance of beam intensity and clarity. The tailcap design supports tail-standing, making it suitable for hands-free use on flat surfaces. With dimensions of 170.5mm in length, a head diameter of 62.6mm, and a body diameter of 26.1mm, the L21B remains relatively compact for a long-throw flashlight, while its net weight of 212 grams provides a reassuring heft without being unwieldy. It is engineered with integrated reverse polarity protection to prevent damage in case of incorrect battery installation and includes a low voltage warning system that alerts the user when power levels drop, safeguarding both the battery and user expectations.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Convoy L21B is its flexible user interface, powered by a driver that supports multiple mode configurations. Users can select between a simple 4-mode system offering outputs of 0.1%, 3%, 30%, and 100%, or delve into a more intricate selection of either 12-mode groups or 5-mode groups. The configuration process is initiated by quickly tapping the switch twenty times while the flashlight is turned on, entering a programming mode where the light flashes in coded sequences to represent selectable options. In the 12-group setup, users can choose from a wide range of mode combinations including low-to-high ramping, reversed brightness progression, tactical configurations with strobe and SOS, or even minimal setups such as 100% only. These groups are signaled by one to twelve flashes, each corresponding to a specific configuration set, and the user taps the switch during the flashing to confirm selection. Option two within the menu allows the user to toggle mode memory on or off, which determines whether the flashlight remembers the last used mode after being turned off.

For users who prefer simplicity without mode memory, the 5-group system offers preset combinations focused on high-efficiency operation. These include configurations like a single 100% output, high-to-mid progression, or tactical modes with instant strobe access. Like the 12-group interface, these are selected by entering the configuration menu and using the flash-count system to confirm the desired group. This programming structure, while lacking a digital display, is intuitive once understood and enables an exceptional level of personalization not commonly found in similar flashlights.

Internally, the L21B features temperature protection management, a crucial feature for high-performance lights running powerful LEDs at high current. This system helps regulate output and prevent overheating during prolonged use, especially at turbo or full power modes. Whether configured for long-distance white light output or colored modes suited for specific applications, the flashlight adapts fluidly to the demands of the user. With its robust housing, thoughtful thermal design, and highly tunable interface, the Convoy L21B Multi-option Flashlight stands out as a flexible tool engineered for both professional users and enthusiasts. It offers the reliability, customization, and power that modern flashlight users expect, all within a sleek and durable platform that encourages experimentation and long-term use.
