🔌 Power injection – when & why

Long strings get dimmer at the end due to voltage drop. Add extra power wires (power injection) to keep every LED bright:

1.5cm / 2.5cm spacing → inject every 300 LEDs

5cm / 10cm spacing → inject every 200 LEDs

*No injection needed for short runs (<2m / 6.5ft).*

To make these lights work, you must buy:

5V DC power supply – Wattage = (number of LEDs × 0.075W) + 20% headroom.

*Example: 200 LEDs → 200×0.075 = 15W → get a 20W+ supply.*
