The box arrived a bit damaged, but the case itself was packed properly and intact. I inserted the DVD drive from an old laptop, and everything works fine. By the way, there was no need to connect an additional DC cable, as there is enough power through the USB A to USB B cable. At most, I noticed spikes in power consumption up to 7W, but on average it was 2-3W. The case is compact, the quality is fine, no complaints, I liked it.

Perfect for the CD/DVD player recovered from a laptop almost 20 years old. Excellent plastic materials and very happy with the non-slip feet. Cables included in the package. To read discs, no need to power it with another cable, just the USB is enough.
