2-in-1 USB 3.0 2.5G Ethernet Adapter Type-C to RJ45 2500Mbps Rtl8156B Network Card Cat7/8 LAN Converter for NAS Laptop Desktop

Features:
1. 2.5Gbps Super Fast Ethernet Performance Adapter - Ultra-fast network speeds of up to 2500Mbps, twice the performance of a traditional Gigabit Ethernet adapter when used with switches or routers capable of 2.5Gbps. And backward compatible with 10/100/1000 Mbps. Enjoy faster file transfers, smoother video conferencing and seamless streaming.
2. USB-A and USB-C Universal - Hybrid 2-in-1 cable converts from USB-A to USB-C, so it will work with most interfaces (USB 3.2 required for full performance). Usage tip: Please connect the adapter directly to the modem. The connected port must support USB 3.0 or higher, USB 2.0 ports will limit the maximum network speed.
3. Instant Internet - Upgrade your network without updating your cables. With the 2 indicators, you can easily check the network speed. 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet signals are designed to work on Cat 5e or higher rated Ethernet cord, does not exceed 100m in length, just pair your USB Ethernet Adapter with 2.5Gbps-capable switches/routers.
4. Extensive Compatibility - Works with Windows 10/ 8.x/ 7/ Vista/ XP, Mac OS 10.6 to 11.x, iPadOS, Linux Kernel 3.2 and above, up-to-date Chrome OS. Driver download and install may be required on older OS and Kernel versions. Some core features require driver install on Mac OS. (NOT FOR SMARTPHONE)
Important Notes:
It worked, but why did the speed is not 2.5G?
A: There are 3 reasons that this problem happened:
1: Your other network devices such as routers do not support the 2.5G network speed.
2: Your own ethernet is less than 2.5G so this adapter can not reach the speed up to 2.5G because it can not boost the network speed.
3: Your ethernet cable does not support 2.5G network speed, only a cat6a or later type of ethernet cable can support 2.5G network speed.
(Tips: Cat5 cable's max speed is 100mbps; Cat5e cable's max speed is 1000mbps; Cat6 cable's max speed is 1000mbps; Cat6a cable's max speed is 10gbps; Cat7 cable's max speed is 10gbps; Cat8 cable's max speed is 40gbps)
