1pair Wiegand Signal Extender / Wiegand Format To RS485 Converter, Automatically Recognizes All WG Formats Extend Up To 500M

introduction

Most of the access controllers on the market use Wiegand (WC) interface to connect with the card reader. The nominal distance of the WG transmission is 100 meters, actually between 20-60 meters, so we are on the door. During the implementation of the system, the distance between the access controller and the card reader is usually too long, which may result in the access controller not receiving the information of the card reader.

The Wiegand signal extender converts the Wiegand output of the device into a 485 signal, and the transmission distance of the Wiegand signal is greatly increased to a theoretical maximum of 1200 meters by twisted pair transmission. The extender adopts high anti-interference MCU processing chip, built-in watchdog circuit, and automatically detects the working state of the device. When the operation is abnormal, it automatically resets and resets to ensure that the converter never crashes. Dimensions: 70x41 × 23mm, can work stably for 7 × 24 for a long time. Already running 7x24 on the actual user site for more than 5 years.

Extender adaptive WC26WG80 format, support HID, SIEMENS.Honeywell central control, micro tillage, Hikvision, aerospace information, Da Shi smart, Kesong, Pike, Jieshun and other imported original and domestic brand card reader , fingerprint machine, face recognition machine, Bluetooth card reader and other equipment.

Instructions

Please pay attention to the following points when using the extender

1. The card reader must be connected to the transmitter, that is, the GND of both should be connected;

2. The access control board must be connected to the receiving converter, that is, the GND of both should be connected;

3. 5/6 type network cable can be used as the signal transmission line; the reader can be powered separately from the access control board 100 meters or more;

4. If the access control board is powered, it is best to supply the remaining pairs of the network cable in parallel, leaving only one pair of lines for transmitting 485 signals:

5. If you can't receive the signal, please open the converter cover and observe the change of the indicator light: working status: red light is on the sending end: the blue light is on; the receiving end: receiving the signal green light is on;

6. Converter 485 terminal GND can not be connected under normal circumstances, only connect AB two lines, such as using shielded transmission line can be connected to the shielding layer;

7. The extender needs to be used in pairs to function properly. The user should decode the card number when using it alone.

8. The extender supports various Wiegand signal output devices such as a PIN pad reader, a fingerprint machine, and a face recognition machine;
