Q: The button turns on and off completely HDD? Sata along with power?

Yes. The independent switch can cut off the hard drive power supply. Important note: It only cuts the power line, the SATA data signal remains connected. This is internal SATA installation, NOT USB hot swap. Please shut down your PC before replacing the hard disk for safety.

Q: Does it work like USB where can connect and disconnect with computer connected or as SATA that can only connect with computer disconnected? Fit for 2.5 "and 3.5" or are they different parts?

A: It is internal SATA, NOT USB hot-swap. You must power off your PC before replacing hard drive. Two separate models: Model 1-1125SS is for 2.5" drive (convert to 3.5" bay), Model 2-1106SS is for 3.5" drive for 5.25" optical bay. They are different parts.

Q: Will the product be damaged or crushed during international shipping?

A: We have upgraded shock-resistant packaging to reduce the risk of extrusion damage during transit. If you receive the package with broken box or damaged item, please take photos/videos and contact us immediately.

Q: Will the frame deform or the screws get loose after repeatedly ejecting the hard drive?

A: Our caddy adopts reinforced stainless steel frame and upgraded screw bushings. Under normal operation, the frame will not deform and the screws won’t loosen. Please do not use excessive force when ejecting the hard disk.
