The cable is defective and does not work. I tested it with different operating systems: Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, and Windows 10 32-bit and 64-bit. I followed the instructions from the CD and installed the correct drivers. I tried the VAG-COM Lite 1.2 software from the disc. I even purchased a license and used the full version of VAG-COM. I lost 6 days testing it on VW Golf 3, VW Passat 2, and Audi A4 B5, but the connection always drops and gives an error. This cable is with processor CH340, which is the cheapest and low-quality analogue and causes connection problems. If you want a working cable without problems, make sure you buy a cable with chip FTDI FT232RL. I realized this the hard way after 6 days of reading, installing software, and doing tests.
