LED Light For Lego 10356 Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D Decorative Lamp With Battery Box

It's looks simple enough, just other light kits I've installed in the past. Unfortunately I haven't received the actual Lego set to put it in. Still awaiting delivery on that set.

Xmas gift so not used yet, but the item is of good quality and seems complete. the quality of just the packaging makes me expect a well made product.

Incredible value for money. The instructions are useful but you’re gonna need to use a bit of ingenuity to make this truly work well with all wires hidden. I’m not a fan of the blue tubes used for the warp necelles so I will be replacing them or figuring out an alternate way to light them - but considering the price compared fo other kits out there that charge 10 times the price for the exact same components - this is a way better solution.

The pictures of the product do not show that the cables are exposed outside the model. This was not communicated properly. Now I have to come up with a solution, either to extend the cables or to use the lighting set for something else. This was not intended to be the case. A shame, not recommended.

After receiving the order, I checked the contents and found them to be perfectly suitable for my MOC. The light strips can be routed through the small holes of the 1x1 bricks with studs on the side and the hole on the back, allowing them to represent the plasma flow in a warpgondel. A wireless remote control set with this circuit board fits perfectly, as it has 8 different channels, which is excellent!
