The caliper was cheap to buy and it works, although I had to bend the thumb-press part a little with a hot air blower so that it smoothly can move with the arrows matching. For the price I can't complain much, but still 1 star subtraction because the mm scale is very wrong! "10 mm" is about 7 mm in reality. As a consequence I must read the indicated value, then correct for the scale error so as to estimate the true mm reading.
