It might be worth recalibrating your extruder steps after installation., It's been working well for three weeks. My issue was that the filament got stuck and ground down (the reason I bought this, because the old gear was very worn). this made it better, but I also needed to tune the printing settings I used. I turned off z-hop and reduced retraction to 0.8mm and I've not had an issue since.
