The product description mentions a plastic base and gives the dimensions of the base. All the photos in the item's page show the stone in a plastic base. Several of the reviews discuss the quality of the base. I would not have ordered this product if it did not come with a base. Nevertheless, no base was provided. When I contacted the seller, Sherman's Life Store, I was told that the item did not come with a base. When I pointed out that the description listed the base and its dimensions, that all photos showed a base, and that some reviewers discussed the base, I was told again that the item did not include a base, and was provided with no explanation about why the advertisement indicated that it came with a base. Additionally, the seller refused to provide a base even when I offered to pay for shipping.
