This is the second one I've bought; I was very happy with the first one I purchased, which is why I'm buying again.

It's good for my daughters to be calm while watching a video while we're traveling; it serves its purpose for both phones and tablets. I've tried it with a 10" tablet and it holds it well as long as it doesn't have a case, and if it does have a case, it should be thin. It's true that if you open the arm too much, you can see that the weight makes the stand tilt a little.
