It fits perfectly, I wear it perfectly (53cm head circumference) for my friend, I don't know if it will fit her, as she has a big head and a lot of hair. anyway it has elastic. It came with a piece to make the sample, and indeed it is silk, there is no doubt about it. I burned it and it smelled like burnt hair (which indicates that it is a product 💯 % organic) was satisfactory although the seller did not send me the typical handwritten note that all the other sellers provide hahaha.
